6.45pm, Thursday 11th September 2025, at Seaton Scout Hall.
• Our 1st Seaton Scout Group is a registered charity.
• Charities need Trustees.
• Trustees need electing.
• Elections need an AGM.
• AGMs need a voting Council.
• Our Group's voting Scout Council is you!
That's right, our Group's Scout Council is made up of:
• All the parents and carers of our Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Young Leaders (YLs).
• All our adult volunteers who are members of The Scout Association.
• All our Patrol Leaders (PLs) and Senior Patrol Leaders (SPLs) in Scouts.
We need enough members of the Scout Council for a vote to be legally recognised by the UK Charity Commission.
So...
Once a year, for 20 minutes, WE NEED YOU...
To legally elect our Trustee Board...
Who oversee the Group...
That supports our Sections...
Who deliver the activities...
That your children enjoy...
Throughout the year...
